Details of level3

This semester we learn approximately 45 sentence structures including 只要…就，只有…才, interrogative expressions, and so on. Students will receive specific training on how to express their feeling and how to describe an event in simple Chinese, among many other learning tasks. There are about 160 words and characters in the textbook. So each week they will learn 12 words and 2 sentences structures during this 15 week span. In the end of the semester, students are expected to be able to speak basic Chinese.
In addition to learn the language, cultural points such as Chinese riddles and Cai Lun, the great inventor of paper, will be introduced and discussed. Students will have opportunities to participate in discussions of their experience of learning Chinese.
