This semester we learn approximately 10 sentence structures including 在……，是……，谁……，买……，会……，有……，为什么……，要…….Students will receive specific training on how to read, how to write, and how to make words and sentences, among many other learning tasks.
There are about 120 words and characters in the textbook. So each week they will learn eight words and one sentence structure during 15 weeks span. In the end of the semester, students are expected to be able to read, write, and speak some simple words and sentences.
In addition to learn the language, cultural points such as good manners, children’s song, Chinese New Year festival will be introduced and discussed. Students will have opportunities to do plays. So they can get some hands-on experience about Chinese culture.
